When Kan_i complained about the cinemas here (Coz we brought him to the small ones)
I was like huh? The cinemas here are way better than those in Australia. At least in Perth and Brisbane which I have been to.
Then I brought him to the ones at Orchard Cineplex and he said this is similar to Sydney then I said ok if this is the case we have way better cinemas here coz this ain't the biggest still
Well, Deathnote is not horror but it is very gothic and have a very interesting concept -

Well, Deathnote is not horror but it is very gothic and have a very interesting concept Maybe equivalent in terms of seats and all that, they're kinda like Golden Village, and there IS GV here, with the next largest being Hoyt's, I think.
Other than that, the 'new' releases are mostly not that new and it's just... lacklustre...

Bear, there's a neurosurgeon who used to work in SGH but is now in Private practice - Dr Alvin Hong, he's really good. He has patients under him who stays in SGH post-op too. Why don't you try seeing him?
Or, try Dr Chumpon Chan... he's THE leading neurosurgeon in Singapore. He's based in TTSH. -

in the words of someone really adorable, it's a bit of Serendipitous Synchronicity... i thought i was well enough to go back to work until i had to sit for more than an hour to see the doc.. it was okay until the 35 minute mark.. then the pain set in
the doc made me stay home another 2 weeks -

The cinemas might not have caught my fancy but, the Melbourne Aquarium has!
I'm considering taking up an annual membership with them, and along with it, I get to visit the Aquarium as often as I like, free!
I really really love that place! Esp the 'Fishbowl' in the centre of the underwater tunnel, where it's so mesmerising and meditation-like! You sit in front of huge floor to high ceiling glass and watch the fishes swim in front of you... and the room is round in shape and pretty huge, and some of the fishes like to swim round and round. But it's so huge you will feel giddy if you follow them round and round.
I like to sit there, soak in the New Age / Ambient music, and be mesmerised... mind goes blank, stress and cares melt away... Lovely!
