I already cook for one other colleague now and then. And when I return from Richmond market on Saturday mornings with my haul, one or a few colleagues will benefit cause I'll serve freshly cut fruits!
Oh man, the fruits, vegetable, and seafood there are soooo cheap! Too bad there can't be meat sold there too. And too bad I don't drive, or I'll drive to the Queen Victoria Market to get cheaper meat too. -

I wish I had neighbours who were singles and friendly... so I can do the marketing, and offer to split the haul. That would mean the freshest produce at the cheapest prices, with no wastage and a huge variety too!Originally posted by elindra:

My friend on WoW swears to me that he saw one trying to eat a chihuahua once and the lady owner was screaming her head off while they tried pulling the leash for the pelican to release the poor dog -
then make achar with it...
buy some cucumbers, carrots, green chillies, a bit of ground peanuts...
do the same thing as i said in the recipe of stuffed green chillies...
only, remember to salt the stuff in order to draw out the liquid in them.. and then sun-dry the things... then pickle them.. should be okay to eat in about.. 3 to 4 days.. -

btw, ducks eat water plants... or grasses.. mostly.. so cauliflower will be eaten by them without much problems...
or just go feed a horse you see on the streets -
