Toaster Fright ....

Okie ... hur hur hur ... this is lame .... but I'm just rambling at 5am ..... so .....
who gets a shock every morning from the bread toaster ? ....
when ever I pop my bread slices into the toaster, I'll go puttering around getting the milk and peanut butter ready, and every single time, the sudden noise of bread jumping out of the toaster would give me a mini fright every time .....
anyone else get this toaster fright too ? .....
It's a great wake-up shock though .... better than coffee ...

Hee hee.............this is call "ork lang boh tah" Eh, if puah tah ah, must eat kia hong suah.
I hardly eat toast so not that many experience. Besides, toaster is snug at a corner, even if give out that binggggg, it will be "too far" to gib me a shock. -

If it's dead-quiet in your kitchen in the morning, the sound of the toaster suddenly popping can be somewhat startling. I'm accustomed to the sound of close-range gunfire, so a toaster popping in a dead-quiet kitchen doesn't startle me at all. -
...... those... angmo popup toast... toaster... is.....
not.... hygiene friendly unless you are DAMN clean
and you clean all the insides all the time....
mmm cos.. bits of toast left behind.. attract.. cockroaches.....
and.. one of these days... u might see a cockroachie pop up together with ur pop tarts.....
then u get a real toaster fright

get those with bottoms that can be slid out..
give it a few whacks, slide out the bottom, all the crumbs can be thrown out...

got those type?? my experience with popup toasters is limited... I only use them courtesy of landlords when I was living overseas. Almost all pop-up toasters have a removable tray at the bottom to catch crumbs.
