i want to get well
and i have met her and shared conversation and drinks a few times already.. just that, i've been laid low and right now, with this injury.. it hurts like blazes just to sit for more than an hour...
at work today, i had to go hide in my little corner and lie down periodically on part of a sofa i nicked...
well, i am on the road to recovery but it can't come fast enough

how long will u take to get well?
or is the pain permanent?

i don't know actually... let's see how it goes...
i'm making an guesstimate that i could be okay with little pain by 2 weeks' time
hopefully...
or everything may go to hell and i could be on the surgery table at that time too
i hope it's the former -

maybe u shud increase ur calcium intake? -
on painkillers.. but still doesn't mask all the pain.. calcium isn't useful because nothing wrong with the bones.. just the bloody disc which is cartilege anyway.. and it's slipped out of place..
i'll be fine.. hopefully

sadly, today when i was going to work, i was listening to BBC World Service.. the story was about how about 17,000 officials in PRC were punished for corruption...
a chinese dude talking to the BBC was saying that it was due to the communist themselves who caused this.. when they destroyed the religious practices, and then replaced it with Maoism or Maxism or whatever the crap communism which no one believes anymore, there is a moral vacuum.. so most PRC people have no conscience and will do anything to earn a quick buck...
which is why the rampant corruption in PRC..
thing is, now that PRC is economically on the rise, and they have their own products out there in the market, even their own products are suffering from the hands of pirates as their own market is flooded with knock-offs of their home-grown brands -
