  btw, don't just check the price of the car...
  
  factor EVERYTHING in... fuel consumption, taxes, maintenance and all that.. mostly fuel consumption..
  
  one of the reasons i bought my little Vios was that it was one of the most fuel-efficient cars around for its class, and it fit me...
  
  go try it out, test drive and ask about the things like parts, servicing and all that...
  
  and also if you can fit inside coz you're about my height or taller right?
  
  i didn't get a Picanto coz i could not fit in the car

  wah the fuel consumption champion la.
  
  1 litre 22km.
  
  my i/c is using this car.
  
  somemore with the seat down its a 2 seater with a whole lotta space behind.
  he was also saying because its 600cc, the road tax is cheap.
  insurance they consider it 2-door, not 2-door sports.

  yah.. they will have a spreadsheet for you.. the repayment and the interest and all that...
  
  at Borneo Motors of Toyota, if you went with their inhouse loan, they gave you a $2,000 discount...
  
  the way i calculated, and they did too, the total interest i'm paying was $1,000 and therefore i got the car cheaper by using their inhouse loan.. which was very competitive too...
  
  but then, i threw a huge downpayment and i pay up the loan by June next year

  What I meant is it's based on the book rite???
  
  Normally the fig is worst esp in SG's traffic conditions

  i was thinking of taking it slow, zero downpayment... 10 yrs. even then its less than 500 a month!

  for a 600cc car, it's actually slightly on the high side consumption

  its the consumption of my class 2a bike man! its amazing for a car.
  
  i'm very relaxed on 4 wheels. besides i'm getting this for the photography, not rushing around in it.

  $43,000 is very high for a 600cc car.. considering a Vios is not more than $50,000 the last time i checked..

  not rushing to get it, just looking at this car... still got my bike though.
  
  once everything from the other side stabilises, i can think about this car.

  yeah.. maybe later there are other cars which are cheaper and maybe better value for money?
  
  btw, the specs for the car in terms of fuel consumption is calculated with a beautifully tuned car, and highway driving... normal driving is nowhere near that...
  
  again, as always, do lots of market research before getting big ticket items

  yes it can fly...
  
  you maintain it, it'll fly... there are still WW2 biplanes still flying... there are Dakotas still flying commercially too!
