i miss bangkok alot.
i was thinking of going there for an impromptu trip at the end of this month. then go for my planned trip in december for the countdown.
but after i bought new lens and all, i think i'm stuck here till december.
so, please get me short girl -

the year end trip?
i took 12 days leave
i should be gone for 6.
2 days in pattaya.
everytime i come back to singapore i just feel so demoralised.
unless of course i've work and get a whole lot of money.
but the stupid organisation thinks the peanuts you're earning justifies the amount of work they give you. -

you go to a country as a tourist, you will only see the best of the place because you're there in a good mood, relaxed and most of all, you're there for a short time...
if you live there, you'll see it for what it is, warts and all...
and when you drill it down to the core, we're all human... just that there are some cultural differences which will stand out because we are living here and desensitised to the goodness while we look at the bad...
elsewhere, somehow, a lot of people are more forgiving to strangers while giving those close to us a hard time.. i knew of someone like that... strangers could get away with murder and that person would be forgiving and all that.. while those close will never even be forgiven and that slight will be filed away for future use...
keep your eyes open no matter where you are, and try not to blind yourself to the goodness that is present.. because it is, no matter how people insist it isn't -
