Title : How do RP'ers discuss raid strategy?
I am always curious, since true RPers do not use vent / teamspeak, how do they down bosses (esp. Mc / onyxia / bwl).
MT: "yarrrr kind paladin, bless me as you bless kings"

As much as I like RP, I really don't think that WoW's real-time fights allow that especially when the fight begins and you need to improvise. That is why we use Vent/TS. Many a times, it has saved our asses from being flamed by the nasty fat dragon
I just can't imagine WoW without Vent/TS
Plus, I think I will fall asleep -
But Don, can't the RPers RP on Vent too

Raid Leader/MT: okie guys lets just kill raz and if server re-rolls, we get double loot!

Yeah you get alot of weird shit on Vent
Depending on raid leaders
The RL for MC likes to crap alot whereas the RL for BWL likes to give long lengthy explainations that I tend to start dreaming -

Really chiong Onyxia and when server came up again we farmed it again
Happened for ZG too
It went down during razor before but never rerolled! Damn!
What strategy do you guys use for Razor?
Ours is kite all mages, Hunters kite the dragonkins and Mages kite the Legionnaires -
You mean kill all mages right.
We only use warriors to kite. Everyone else assist to kill mages. -

MT : ORB
Hunter : kite
Druids : sleep dragonkin
DPSers : kill mages
Locks/Priest: fear only when collasping for last few eggs (we dun do this anymore). lock fear mobs away from ORB controller if have to
shammie : earth bind totems on 4 corners

Well, we are in the midst of recruiting. But to prevent guild-hoppers we do give the new members a trial period before they are fully reconigised as a guild member. BC coming out Jan 16th would equalise bulk of the players.
T1 would be obsolete around 62
T2 obsolete around 65
T3 obsolete around 67
Now, I'm level 65 and I'm feeling the pinch in Nagrand about my gear - mainly T2/AQ gear. Nagrand is questing area until 67 i think. Note that I am currently wearing some blues and greens that are better than my T2 epics.
So I wouldn't fret about your gear and your guild numbering 30+. In BC, the raid size is limited to 25, so no point recruiting at this stage. In fact, many guilds on my server have broken down and some haphazard re-organisation for BC.
My guild also has broken down somewhat, and rather than recruit new members, we chose to ally with another guild to do BWL/AQ40 for the time being. No point recruiting at this stage to find yourself wanting to cut numbers when BC hits.
Check out the new T4 stats. Interestingly T4 has various armor options for classes that has roles other than dps.
Pallies have 3 armor sets - tank, melee and healer
Shammie 3 also - nuker, melee and healer
Warrior - dps and tank
Druid has 3 and Priest has 2 sets
So far, T4 has no set bonus in game yet.
Also, some data mining on the BC beta client has revealed some details on the T5 set. Some of them are really fugly looking.

Hmm, actually.... personally I don't care about getting Tier sets for my main. He's an Owl if you get what I mean, and Tier sets in live servers now is useless for owls.
