I love love love them!
Recently, I think I've been watching too many of them within a short period though, because my thoughts are becoming a tad twisted!
Which are your favourites? I know we had a topic re horror movies back in Feb 2006 but let's revive the topic again!
One of the best horror movies I've watched recently -
Re-cycle, starring Li Sin Jie, who starred in 'The Eye'.
This movie is awesome! It was scary, the effects were good plus on top of that, there were bits where it was like a social commentary.
Made me scared, made me cry... who else has watched it? -

watched the eye 10 with nel.. he made the movie look like a joke..
in fact.. he made almost every movie look like a joke..
words of advise: never watch a movie with nel unless its a comedy. -
Recently finished watching MPD Psycho, the Japanese series that's really gory and very twisted. The music featured in the series somehow plays itself over and over in my head! ("Strange New World" by Lucy Monostone).
Wondering if this series is available in Singapore? It comes in three parts and I kept seeing the incomplete DVD's being sold and when I finally went to a bargain DVD place and saw two completely new and unopened boxed sets, I had to purchase one!
Like I said, it's sick, twisted, and really really weird, in the way only Japanese movies can be. -
when "horror" movies are more funny to you than scary (like it is to me) it is time to quit watching them
btw, horror movies... got to go with Hellraiser.. only the first 2
and one movie which traumatised me for life when i watched it as a cub.. it was... BAMBI!
imagine.. Bambi is a boy deer?? what kind of stupid mother names a boy "Bambi"?? imagine having to live life as a macho deer with a stupid name like.. BAMBI!!! now.. that's scary

words of advise: never watch a movie with nel unless its a comedy. The Eye was awesome, The Eye 2 was also good with original scenes that scared the hell outta most of us, but The Eye 10 only had like one scary bit right at the start and then, the movie went downhill from then on.
And people who laugh at the scary bits in horror movies ought to be smacked squarely in the mouth for ruining the suspense for the rest of us who paid to be scared! -
btw.. the most sick, twisted and depraved film director in the world did one of the worst, sickest, most disgusting and nauseating pile of vomit movie ever...
it was called TITANIC!

sad to say for Titanic, the scenes I enjoyed did not include the main charcs -

was there a scene where seeds were planted into dead human corpses (in the brains) which then sprout into plants?
so its like the human corpses are acting as a flower basket with the brains providing the necessary nutrients for the seeds to grow. -

dont fancy horror.. err.. if my overactive imagination works with pomelo.. imagine the type of fodder those japanese horror movies give it.
But i like suspense thrillers.. and one of my favourite is this one called Shallow Grave. Did anyone watch it? Somehow I can never find it in video shops here. -
