  Sweetest thing I did... hmm... was probably to stand by my ex when he started his business and listen to him without prejudice each time he confided to me about it and he got so comfortable that he even discussed his failures with me, which some men would never ever reveal.
  
  Then, when business folded, I took over the financial responsibilities of our day-to-day lives whilst he tended to business matters. Assured him that I'll support him and actually went through that tough period with him. That was really tough, but we pulled through then.

  funny thing is...i can remember wat dear did for me, but i cant remember if i got do any sweet things for him or not...or those things mite not be considered sweet, just pretty normal stuff a gf will do for a bf..
  
  but is it true if u are too sweet, then the other party will take u for granted?

  I think back then we were looking for proofs. Proof that he liked me, proof of his love, etc. Huge, public DECLARATIONS and demonstrations of love!
  
  Now that err don't need to prove anything, so never do liao Now I guess it's all in the simple, day-to-day things.

  I think the sweetest thing my darling did was me was coming over to look after me when I had this really severe bout of gastric flu and my parents were holidaying in Shanghai (they cut short their holiday coz of me ) and my brother was stuck on Pulau Tekong
  
  He came over and cooked and clean up my mess when I kept vommitting and couldn't make it to the toliet in time and spewed all over the basin
