Okie Okie ... so I have only entered the rat race for a couple of months ...
but it's already hitting me hard ...
the constancy ... the sameness ...
it's not that the work is uninteresting, or even routine ... but everything else is the same ...
the morning rush ... work ... lunchie ... work ... the long journey home ... decapitate a bottle of beer, forage for dinner, then bed ...
repeat X .......
I'm starting to question this existence ... I want to do something worthwhile with my prime ...
so ... what IS a job to you ... just a paycheck generator ? ... -

cos i no money, if i got money then no need to work le.
no need to everyday wake up so early then waste so much time travelling. -
After my years of working, I've come to realise:
- more challenging work usually mean more responsibilities, more OT and less time for myself and family (can be financially rewarding but not enough time to enjoy)
- the ideal, meaningful / interesting job usually means getting low pay which could hardly sustain a comfortable lifestyle without living hand-to-mouth (remember your wifey kitty fund?)
After a while, it is basically the same thing, day-to-day - that's worklife. -

i guess I do like to certain extent what I am doing...but sumtimes u get demotivated because of the students' attitude. Like you are so eager to teach them then they just don't take your effort seriously...

I don't have ambition now
Used to be more ambitious
I just want a steady income to get by and go home to my family and not burn myself out trying to reach for the stars -
