Not really. If their albums can't sell, they can't survive in the industry. End of the day, they go back to their previous job or something else. And how about those singing in pubs.. they can't be doing it for free.. rite?Originally posted by DriftingGuy:Yeah but you don't need to pay them and they will still do it. Whereas you will need to pay me to do work, I won't do it automatically or for free
No la, I meant singing as a hobby or for those who really really like it. Even if I don't pay you to do it, you still will go KTV to sing to your heart's content right? So the paying part had become something of a bonus. And its great to get paid to pursue your hobbyOriginally posted by Camellias4me:Not really. visual studios, when used in conjunction with some sort of version management system, is an absolute pig !!! ...
I got chewed off for checking in a build that doesn't ... missing file ... when it was actually simply NOT showing up on other's local project dir ! ...
it has happened to me before .... for some weird reason you have to shut down the whole app and restart it again ....Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:So how did you get it to eventually show up in the project directory? Did you do a refresh?
very true...Originally posted by Wanda:After my years of working, I've come to realise:
- more challenging work usually mean more responsibilities, more OT and less time for myself and family (can be financially rewarding but not enough time to enjoy)
- the ideal, meaningful / interesting job usually means getting low pay which could hardly sustain a comfortable lifestyle without living hand-to-mouth (remember your wifey kitty fund?)
After a while, it is basically the same thing, day-to-day - that's worklife.
