Quick Survey for da Gals

Recently I posted this question to my galfrens:
"Do you earn more than your boyfren/husband/de-facto"
i was surprised when a significant number of them said "Yes". Most of these gals are well-educated Uni grads or Poly grads and are attached to someone similarly educated.
I had always thought that guys are given a higher pay when they are employed (it is true for my ex company) but this question seem to show otherwise among my galfrens.
Is there any gal here who is also earning more than their other halfs? How does your other half feel about it and do you think that it affects your relationship?

I earn less than my SO though I have a degree and he a diploma
But I have alot of friends who earn more than their husbands like a N lvl vs degree holder
Well, they advised that they don't mind him having lower qualifications and earning less as long as he loves them, cares for them and is constantly upgrading themselves and that they care for the family.
Makes sense I think
PS. SO's case is difference coz he has a professional license

those with N level vs degree ones i do understand why the difference in salary. but it's my galfrens who r odd. they got a degree, their other halfs got a degree/diploma yet they earn more. another couple, both diploma but the gal earns almost double. so i'm wondering if the salary scale for gals r finally catching up or is there something out there that i dun know off? (aliens?!?)

I started with me earning more than him (slightly) and now he earns more than me (not slightly)
and yeah even though I am degree holder, and he holds err.. ITE cert. But yeah its the professional licenses. -

Actually Don Don it depends on what the girl is doing
Usually if she is in financial sales her pay is very very high
Like my cousin.
Her husband is a dentist but earn less than she does
And she only goes to work 3 days out of a week

wahhh finanical sales as in investment, insurance etc? that line of work is v good for those with the gift of the gab.
my girlfrens are neither professionally licensed nor in the financial sales. they are your ordinary marketing, logistics, civil servants, etc -

Marketing once you are established or good your pay is high
Logistics .... market short so pay is higher too and if you are good yes pay is high
Civil servants than I dunno liao

one of my frens had it the best. she is civil servant (3K++++++) and her ex was Technical Art Director for a "branded" company. his pay still lower then hers. -
