Current Year Review and New Year Goals for 2007!

We've been talking about New Year Resolutions at the end of the year but since the term itself has become quite cliched, let's talk about our goals for the Year 2007 then!
It's also important to learn from our past so why not dwell a little on how 2006 had been for you so we can learn from our mistakes and experiences and not repeat those in the year ahead!

2006 Review
Hmm... it was a rollercoaster year, action-packed and full of dreams being built, smashed, rebuilt, and modified.
Overall, a very tiring year for me and I got to learn a few things about myself that I dislike.
2007 Goals
- Obtain PR;
- Learn driving and get 'P' licence;
- Enroll in and commence at least the first module of a Professional Development Nursing Course in an Aussie Uni; and
- Save up for my first home / first car / both!
Think that's quite a handful already! Here's to a good year ahead!! Cheers!!

2006 Review
Disastrous! Emotionally, professionally, Spirituly.
Thankfu for friends, certain family members who dragged me to America & Thailand to allow me to learn to break away.
2007 Goals
Predicted that I will do better, cos this tigress is coming out of shadow to pounce. Errrr.....I still figuring to pounce who, what and where.
Other then that, the normal stuffs:
1) Lose Weight
2) Becomes prettier
3) Learn more skills (Thai language translation? Chinese Comp? Sign Language?)
4) Break more bones (Others, not mine) Aikido again?
5) Dance the nites away (Salsa Rueda Casino!!!)
6) Listen to more music (Jazz & New Age Buddhist Chants)
7) Shoots (IPSC)
Dive (Open Water Padi)
9) Fly (Private Pilot Training) -
goals:
get myself into acca n pass the 2 modules in december..
learn how to blade
lose 25kg
be 3 sizes smaller...
get more clothes

2006 was a mixed year, to say the least.
2007, I want to do 2 things.
1. Get back into my 1991 condition, physically (this was my all time best).
2. Start dating again. Gawd its been a long spell of inactivity.
oh, and strike 4D and toto -
2006 was the most memorable year for me because I have my O level and next year me and my friend gonna walk different path of life.

if can try ur darnest to get into NP or other polys... just dun go NYP -
every yr my resolution is to lose weight..
but every yr i put on more weight instead.
next yr's resolution will not be about losing weight again..
i hope my better half will come find me soon. -

got 1 up till now still haven find a perm/full time/contract job... she's part timing now..
den.. for the guys... after ord took them half a year to find a job at least..

and from what i heard from some frenz.. nyp grads' resumes get thrown into rubbish bin.. -
taking half a year to find job very common what, 1 year plus also have. and I'm talking about local uni grads as well.

and also.. if u plan to further ur studies... australian universities might not give any credit standing for NYP dips..
for my old dip... its 1 semester... she didn even look at my result.. that was for dunno which university.. forgot liao
partly oso because... u learn a bit of everything.. but not enuff for ur major... -

Review on 2006:
Making a brave move on moving out from a stagnant job to a job which gives me more exposure. This is one of the best decision I make so far in my life.
Goals on 2007:
Hopefully to make something out from this career. Hopefully can eventually move out from singapore and work overseas forever. Hope I can also work up more on my health so that I will not screw up next yr. -
2006: I really got no comments bcos I met the targets. Just.
2007: Get past NS.
Short-term goal in Jan 2007: Get a handphone. I'm getting hell of scoldings bcos I'm virtually uncontactable. -
