it's not like in oz or canada where they'll just call you names or what not ... you pay with your life ....

Nowadays medical science and all, women can give birth later ba.
It is ideal of course if you can find the perfect place to stay till you die - but I guess for me and hubby, our decision is to get as little debt as possible. We don't want to tie up our cash or CPF - at that time I was also not working and contemplating mid-career switch. So well, lots of people live and die in 3 rooms flats too ma Of course we still hope one day we will have small house by the beach - but hurhurhurhurhuhur.. see how lah! mebbe win toto!
In Singapore, society expects everyone to perform to schedule. This age, graduate. This age, Married. This age, get flat. This age, Get kids. It's so mechanical. Even number of times have sex in a week also under scrutiny. Bloody hell lah. -

not exactly healthy... and also.. the older i am when i have a kid... the higher the chances of the kid gettin sth unpleasant..
and also.. i wanna be like my mom.. she's only 41 this year... her eldest kid's 22 n married already -

6 years is enough time to plan.
If I had married younger, I would prefer to get the kids over and done with too More energy to keep up with them and more time for myself when they are grown up earlier. Your mom is lucky! -

They have quiet areas too and lots of residential areas though it is right smack in town.
I have to add that I tried booking hotels in other Bangkok districts but Chris doesn't like them coz too crowded or too out of the way
Sukhumvit is a good mix
