But if the bike is very upright, like the old chopper, cycling shd be alright....that is, if one can still find a chopper bicycle.
Well didn't you know that bears & pilates don't go well together?Originally posted by the Bear:i did Pilates..

Pilates as an exercise is similar to Yoga..
I want to have a whole new me -> eat healthy, work healthy.Originally posted by Rhonda:Honeybunz, if you're trying to explore, why not join a BodyBalance class at first? It's a combination of Tai Chi, Pilates and Yoga done to a mix of really awesome music. It's one of my favourite classes and it can get quite challenging as well.
Pilates was designed by physiotherapists, I believe. Professional dancers would practice Pilates as well because it tends to develop long, lean muscles, which of course, enhances the dancer's silhouette! It emphasises your 'core muscles' and a session of Pilates can make you work up a sweat!
Yoga has a meditative quality to it and there are other aspects to Yoga, like deep breathing, balancing, etc, that I found to be really beneficial to one's overall health. Yoga's not just posing... if done correctly, you can actually find yourself sweating too!
BTW, is exercising one of your new year resolutions, Honeybunz?

This week I am staying at home to detox myself. That's why I can't join The Bear & the rest for dinner. But might drop by to say hi, if I don't feel too week.
Had tried both Yoga and Pilates but still prefer yogaOriginally posted by Honeybunz:Anyone learnt yoga before or is taking up yoga lesson?
I feel like taking up yoga. Need something to relax and at the same time improve my overall wellbeing. Also I heard that yoga helps lose some weight.
