hey thanksOriginally posted by Rhonda:Wow!! Even something as mundane as chairs can be transformed into something so artistic!
Love your photos, LL! Like elindra, I like that photo where the clouds appear to move! You have captured the element of 'wind' pretty well!
thanks.. I was testing a new filter that creates this effect..Originally posted by elindra:What can I say LL
For some reason you can create the feeling of movement in your photos
Like the feeling of the street being stretched for example
That's SingaporeOriginally posted by LazerLordz:thanks.. I was testing a new filter that creates this effect..
Anyway, some of these photos are really keepsakes, because the places have all changed, for example, the picture of Haji Lane few posts above, is so different today. In a matter of a few weeks of snapping that photo, the contractors have painted the entire wall dirty white, covering all these textures and faded graffiti..
Prolly will take from my stash..now no time to shoot..Originally posted by elindra:That's Singapore
Post more of your pics when you have time

My grandparents had a shophouse there just opposite Bras Behsa (can't spell suddenly )Originally posted by LazerLordz:don't tell me you grew up there.

Swee Kee. Not bad chicken rice..Originally posted by elindra:My grandparents had a shophouse there just opposite Bras Behsa (can't spell suddenly )
Before the government bought back the land from them
I went there everyday as a kid and that place was my play ground
Swee Kee was a place I went to eat often
Right now there are so many changes that I find myself a stranger to that place.
I used to go to the shophouse and bug my grandpa for chinese tea. You know the 'KungFu' tea? I was drinking that as a little girl My grandfather dotted on me lots coz no one knew how to appreciate that tea except for me
The whole feel have more impact if your title is more indirect or totally non descriptive.Originally posted by LazerLordz:
