Last night's Idols wasn't great. I felt that most of the guys picked the wrong song. And even though Simon didn't have good things to say about that 17 year old, Sunjaya, I voted for him three times anyway. IMHO, he's got a great voice. The hubster voted for the beat-box guy. Let's see how the women fare tonight.

The women were so much better than the guys! I'm rooting for Melinda Doolittle even though the final contestant Lakeshia was a power house. Can't wait to hear who gets voted off tonight.

Sanjaya had better sing well tonight or it's curtains for him, that's my prediction. I cannot imagine that Sundance got voted off instead of Sanjaya until I heard over the news that there is an underground movement to keep Sanjaya in the running. Check out www.votefortheworst.com
I hear that tonight the lead singer from Herman's Hermits will be coaching the Idols, together with another singer from the past. I had the name on the tip of my tongue but it fell off.

If Melinda keeps doing what she is doing she will make it to the final. Her voice, her vocal, her intonation, her personality, stage presense are that of a seasoned diva. Yet she has such humble and modest personality. Gotta love this girl. She really wowwed me. Go Melinda go!!!!
