  a fren introduce www.fundsupermart.com to me and i've been reading up. all those financial terms r so confusing! I'm thinking of using a tiny amt of savings to invest, dun know if that is a wise choice

  I think they imposed that so that the lower income folks won't borrow from loansharks

  But I think $500 credit limit is quite no point lah. Not going to make much of a difference. Loansharks will lend you larger amounts.
  
  If you need to be able to pay using the visa/mastercard system, just need to get a debit card. I use that to pay for my online purchases.

  i might apply for it, will limit my credit spending and i don't use credit cards anyway. this would be mroe for emergency and the small credit will help to minimise losses from lsing wallet or theft
