carven or cyma?

  hi all,
  
  i need some advice here regarding buying a female watch. i myself do not wear watch or know much about watches but i am thinking of buying a watch for my gf. shortlisted the above 2.
  
  anywhere i can buy any of the above watches with a lot of designs to choose from? whats e price range of a carven or cyma?

  i'll leave this to the ladies.. i've only got one watch at the most at any one time in my life.. and they're all disposable

  You want to advise the budget instead? And what's your ages? What sort of job functions you do?
  
  I gave away most of my own watches or my belongings. And only kept 3 that meant a lot to me. And they are 2 Swatch & 1 Hello Kitty. Hello Kitty is new though.
  
  Am hoping to get a Seiko soon, that one will be a memorable item I will keep for my years of service with a Volunteer Organisation.

  Both brands also not really my thing.
  Perhaps Cyma has nicer sporty designs, while if you're looking for something dressy / classic, Carven has nicer stuff.

  From a watchmaking perspective, I'd say the better bet's on Cyma. Carven's a fashion goods joint that simply happens to make watches.
