How do I get rid of a staff that I dun want?

  They already decided to give her chance, extend her probation.

  In the first place, when they interviewed, they didn't check whether the person's background would affect her performance. That was before I took over.

  how about threats?
  
  i tried everything to that one problematic case also.. nothing worked
  
  mayhap yours is different? my team was made up of more than 100
