Who familiar with electric guitar?

I intend to get one to last me a good couple of years..
I saw a package for a Craftsman for $295 with a Line 6 amp included
Then theres a standalone for a BC Rich Mockingbird.. for $295 and I would have to pay more for the other parts..
BC Rich is good but I don't wanna end up with a poor guitar because I bought the cheaper one
Which one? -
i know nuts about guitar.
Got 2 to 3 friends that do.
Two are bikers. One especially is reputed to upp the ommmphy factors to muffs (whatever that is.)
Another just buys guitars to play.
One other collects guitars.
Why are guys fascinated with guitars? -
erhm not just guys bah. i use to play in sec sch. now cannot oready.

you can try off with starter-packs. then from there, you can get better guitars, amps and maybe effects.
