Problem: Paint on fabric
What to use: Turpentine, methylated spirits, acetone, cotton buds, cotton balls
How to apply: To work out what kind of paint it is, get three small containers - one each for turpentine, methylated spirits and acetone. Dip a separate cotton bud in each and apply it to the stains, then rub the stain between your thumb and your forefinger. Whichever takes colour is the solvent.
The paint is most likely water-based. Because it has dried, soak the stained area with methylated spirits. Then soak two cotton balls in methylated spirits and place them on either side of the fabric. Rub the top cotton ball in circular motion, working from the outside to the inside of the stain. Then wash the trousers as you would normally. If the paint is oil-based, use mineral turpentine or acetone in the same way. -

What to use: Cake of soap; Napisan; or Glycerine, cotton balls
How to apply: Damp the soap in cold water and rub over the stain. Then rub the stain against itself vigorously until it's removed. You may need to do this a few times. Put the sheets through the washing machine on the cold cycle. An alternative is to soak the stain in Napisan. If the stain has set, apply glycerine with a cotton ball to either side of the stain. Rub in circles from the outside to the inside of the stain until it starts to shift at the edge, then wash in Napisan and cold water.

the stores are all selling Spring clothings now.
And she wants to buy more winter clothings stuffs for the kids. Cos the current ones are heavily stained with iron vitamin drops.
I suggest for her to look for clearance sales. But she tells me. Children clothes dont have fashion.
Once a new season comes up, they just store the old stocks and sell them again next year.
Sooo....tomorrow morning, we have to do grocery shopping and then to go to shopping malls in the afternoon with the kids to shop for their clothes. -

Problem: Ink stain on fabric
What to use: Milk, detergent, water; or dry-cleaning fluid, cotton ball, talcum powder
How to apply: Rot the milk by leaving it in the sun until solids form. The time this takes varies according to the weather and the age of the milk. Place the solids on the stain, leave until you see the ink start to rise up in the solids, then wash the solids out using detergent and water. You can also use dry-cleaning fluid applied with a cotton ball on either side of the stain. If you can't get underneath the stain, sprinkle talcum powder over the dry-cleaning fluid to absorb it.
