stubbie = short beer bottle... something like the VB bottle.. 375ml
pot = 275ml glass of beer... (in Vic)
glass = 200ml glass of beer..
schooner = pot of beer in NSW-speak
piss = beer
pissed = drunk
pissed off = gone away
anyway, try out the very many beers and find out that there are some good but many crap beers brewed in australia.. the worst is Castlemaine XXXX (the locals actually call it Camel Piss) and the best around is Cascade Lager and Carlton Cold (gimme a Coldie) -
I only know of Victorian Bitters ... courtesy of Ice Cold Beer, where they had authentic VBs in stubbies ...

I don't intend to drink THAT much beer to be a connoiseur in which beer is good, which isn't.
Sorry but I much prefer cocktails and my CHOYA, too bad they're more expensive compared to beer.
OOoh! Must tell you! This morning, they inflated a gigantic balloon in the shape of an F1 Racecar near the Stadium! I saw it from the window of the room I was working in and got my colleagues and the patients to take a look! It was so exciting! Too bad they deflated it after about an hour! Too bad I didn't have my digicam! 
Oooh! And on March 3, when the 60 Ferrari sports cars parade up Lygon Street, I'll be there! -

When I had my first stubbie with Bear's sis, I wanted to keep the bottle cause it was my first beer in Melbourne, but tamade, the waitress cleaned the table so fast and swiped my bottle away!!

oh.. Hahn Ice Beer is pretty good too.. being Ice Beer, it's smooth but strong -
My mum wanted to give me a big bottle of CHOYA but I turned her down
