When we hear a story like that, the normal usual reaction is supposed to go like "eww...gross" or "Bear, you're so bad!" that kind of reaction, and not ask why the bears waste food. Hence, you get your cannibalistic reputation lor....inadvertently, perhaps. -
like that icelandic girl who posted her pictures in flickr.. now she's a full-time photographer because people realised how good she was.. and she didn't even know it until she was told by a lot of professionals

Previously it was embarassing to admit that my stuff was all stuffed away in the harddisk or that I only had 4R prints to show

oh well, have a bunch of them on CD.. but i dunno where the CDs are
maybe i should put future ones together since i've got myself a 500GB HDD in my iMac

Actually I'll be the first to admit that technically, I suck. Until today I still refuse to learn how to read a histogram or to shoot and process in RAW, amongst other things.Originally posted by the Bear:well, meat and poison

I can divide the comments into 2 main groups:
layperson are generally positive
camera collectors and hobbyists(like myself) are generally negative.
since my target market is the layperson......perhaps I have a chance -

wtf's a histogram? is it related to the sociopath?
and RAW?? uhh.. i tried to take a pic with my accursed cam once.. took way too long to just write the pic into the media... it was 15MB! -
a histogram is supposed to help to check for correct exposure. I just look at the lcd and bracket if necessary (depending on your camera's lcd, this may give unpredictable results)Originally posted by the Bear:wtf's a histogram? is it related to the sociopath?

I'm just too lazy to mess with RAW , and it takes up a humongous amount of space, and there are long term archival concerns regarding the RAW format.
