  used to work at a Burger King flipping burgers.. we used Caustic Soda (aka Sodium Hydroxide) to clean the broilers.. after cleaning, there wasn't much rinsing as it was a bigass mechanical thing.. so we turned the broiler up to max heat for a few minutes...
