On cameras and flashes, I'm suddenly reminded of this hilarious episode of Frasier. where Marty(Frasier's dad) finds his old camera and decides to put it to good use.
Its a huge old medium format camera with a gigantic flashgun.
He then goes around taking pictures of people....more like assaulting them with the giant flashgun. All his victims suffer temporary blindness, shock, and nausea.
The photos of his victims shown at the end credits were hilarious, all washed out by the flash with expressions of terror -
now he's schizophrenic too!

i dunno.. the vendors came back to us asking us for a word document of the letter of authorisation we sent to them in PDF.. i mean, in a word doc, the thing is not signed...
anyway, the letterhead and all that on a blank official form is about 120kB already... CAAS requires people to send them letters of authorisation in less than 100kB.. thing is, our official letterhead is cut to low-res pics which look like crap..
the PDF is about 50kB.. the word doc is about 150kB
nothing's getting through anyway
told the vendor.. scan the printed thing in low res, stick it on a word page and send it in

I guess I should be glad that they have yet to reply to me on the issue of my internship application.
Not sure whether I want to work in such a place where common sense gets tossed out of the window with such reckless abandon. -

the vendor tried... they called CAAS to see if they can fax it in.. the asswipe outright rejected it telling them to go send it through the electronic application..
the stupidity and inflexibility is mind-boggling! -

i shall be politely biting when i am there talking to the asswipes... or should i just be outright rude to them?
i don't understand why people can't fax everything to them?? they force people to use the very unfriendly electronic application!
