VK, Krispy Kream is over-rated leh. I know Bear and Rhonda loves them but it's over-rated to me....it's like eating a sugar bomb. Way too sweet!!!!
The last time Kan_i came here, I made him tabao a few flavours for me to sample coz of all the rave reviews but I find that I could not stomach them

i went orchard, and see for some the brands the shirts are priced the same as my bro's tailored ones
if i can get them same price and at the same time tailored, i will go for it
if i am not wrong its 90 bucks per shirt or some shirts
for pants i am not sure, will check it out -

I went to cityPlaza tailor with my ex-hub, and after seeing the work done, had most of my shirts tailored with the same tailor. Looks great in the office, and so much more fitting.
insist on them putting in stiffer collars so you wont have to iron like mad to get them to stand nicely.
and cuffs...Most asian guys has thick arms. So you might as well get those that opens up higher and has 3 buttons instead of one buttons on your long sleeve so its easier for you to roll up your shirt when you need to relax or cool down. -

Dont choose those ultra thin materials wan...they wear out faster and can see your nipps under certain lightings.

My laptop refused to start up just now. It only responded when I plugged in the AC adaptor. Checking the battery status, it reads as 'N/A'... it's as though the battery isn't there at all.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised. The battery has been dying a slow death. Lately I can use it for only an hour before it begs me to switch to AC power. Previously it was close to three hours.
This makes it the FOURTH piece of hardware that I have had to replace in this laptop. Previously I've had to replace the wireless card, DVD-ROM drive, and the RAM chips.
I've said it several times, and I'll say it again: STAY AWAY FROM TOSHIBA!!!!

I bought a Toshiba Satellite A105-S4384 last December, and it's been running like a top. Don't know about the battery, though--I replaced the stock 4400mAh battery with an aftermarket 8800mAh one right after I purchased the laptop, and haven't noticed any battery life issues... yet. -

grrrr... i'm only running this, WMP and Lotus Notes on my PC... so why is it so slow?
they say it's coz i'm running the thing at the correct resolution for the monitor which is 1280x1024 instead of 1024x768 which everyone else seems to run on...
i hate that coz eveything is blurry...
i wager it's the 256MB RAM i have -

I'll bet it's the 256MB of memory that's causing the slowdown. Is there a great deal of disk I/O going on when you're running several concurrent applications? -
