  cos if the ladies dun put the stress on the r/s to move on, the man will just sit ard and do nothing at all.... their logic: if it's working why change it?

  I dun think its betrayal leh...like her husband, she's very single-minded and is willing to do what it takes to get the job done, for the good of her people. And she did succeed.

  stereotypes are hard to break.. that being said, there are hints of truth in many stereotypes...
  
  however, the other stereotype which you ladies have shown is that the lady usually pushes the men into positions where they know they are not ready for... and to please the lady they love and would give their right arms for, they rush into that which they are not ready for... and into disaster...
  
  men on the other hand, tend to not want to fix things if it's okay.. why tinker with something which works? will marriage mean that he loves her more?
  
  i think that knowing the heart of your loved one is vital.. to constantly converse, communicate...
  
  more stereotypes which should be recognised and fixed.. the men clam up and try to figure things out by themselves, causing worry and anxiety in the lady (somehow, men are hardwired to do that)...
  
  women tend to torture their menfolk with "you should know why i'm angry with you! and i'm not going to tell you!"
  
  seems like both sides demand their partners to be telepathic or something

  Actually, I wouldn't mind not getting married but just carry on with the bf, except that at some point, I really want my mom to cut off her apron strings and wash her hands off me (and my affairs).
