anyone know how i can "air" or clean the insides of my leather gloves?
i can't flip the insides out.
it stinks after that long ride up north. -

But I do heard is that locals fill up the places bef the foreigners -

there are enough foreigners out there to completely fill up NUS, NTU, SMU, heck, even the 5 polys with straight A students if they want to ....
so where do we draw the line ? ...
But for that year alot of A's and B's students with many straight A poly students and foreigners
I believe the University would have a ratio for those from JC, Poly and foreigners
And if they are a straight C student, they might not get in due to more students getting straight As and Bs
I dunno how they draw the line but it's just a guess -

Well, what I can say is that the supposed 'minimum' grades needed for admission are just a rough guide. If you just barely meet the requirements, you may still not be guaranteed a place if there are a lot of other people who do better.

For A Lvl applicant, they just look at the A Lvl result
But for Dip holders, why they wanna see their O Lvl results as well? -

I got pretty decent grads during my studies in Canada that I got into an honours society, but then I realized that I was not eligible for 90% of the scholarships they offer ... cos I'm not Canadian ....
in Singapore, it's the other way around ... I feel like a whiner right now saying this, but what's the difference between a foreigner and a singaporean in singapore ? ...
they get the same CPF, the same scholarships (yeah, a PR can get top scholarships too !) ... the same benefits ... our tax payer dollars are subsidizing the foreigners to come to study, and later, those same foreigners are competing against us for jobs .... a masters grad from burma or india can live and save on 1600 a month, we can't ... and so wages get depressed ...
we get the same too ... just that we have to wear green and defend this piece of land for 2 years, and for 2 weeks each year till we're 45, ... this is not our holiday resort, or our sweatshop where we'll work hard and return home to retire rich ... this is our home .... heck ! .. we don't even get to vote most of the time ... -
