I think that similar experiments have been done with lab mice with the same results - overcrowding leads to frequent fights to the death amongst the mice.Originally posted by Fatum:and I'm still a Singaporean ....
but seriously ... people ever wonder why everyone on the streets is so quarrelsome now, so short-fused, so combative ? ....
studies with battery chickens have shown that over-crowding leads to extreme aggression in chickens, that's why battery chickens have their beaks clipped .... to prevent them from pecking each other to death ....
you want to squeeze 6.5 million people into a place that's even smaller than hong kong ..... any wonder why it's so stressful living in Singapore ? ...

I did have a spare SD card with me but unfortunately I couldn't go back to the same spot (including one of my sites I visited) to take photos again.

When I got up, going to have a shower decided up that was a bug stuck on my leg. Thought it was a squashed spider and turned out it was a tick. Arrrrgggggggg........ hate it. Managed to pull it out of my skin and smashed it a few times with a magazine. Thought it was dead and later found out it was still moving. Repeat it again, and it stopped moving so I put it in a jar. I just had a look at the jar before, it's moving again. That little robust thing, doesn't seem to die!!!
i'm supposed to be your breakfast this morning.Originally posted by Rhonda:/me watches TrixCereals passing by... hmm...

Breakfast? Had so much difficulty getting myself out of bed this morning! At one stage, even thought that my dream was very noisy and kept silencing my alarm without even realising it! Luckily, I finally woke up on time!Originally posted by TrixCereals:i'm supposed to be your breakfast this morning.
Can't kill it just yet. Want to show hubby tonight. At least it's now in the jar. I just hope there's no other somewhere else. They are nasty little creatures worse than leeches and can give you disease.Originally posted by Rhonda:
Put some oil into the jar... it'll die very soon!
