Not worn it yet and yes it is from BLUM but it came together with this really nice jacket
Basically it was for office wear
I have a few dresses I have from BLUM which I really love but hardly wear coz I have to send it for dry cleaning and ironing coz too complicated I dunno how to iron and mr pinky bear doesn't know how to iron them too -

ya i agree with you. clothes that r nice often need dry cleaning. i have 2 'love-them-til-death' items that are like that - a gorgeous A|X top in red prints n silver chain and a flirty turquoise mango blouse with soft leather shoulder straps. sadly i keep them for so long, now they dun fit anymore

Actually, I did some other fittings at other places.
And a g/f who used to be fashion designer.
And recently a part time model reminded me that.
The meatier you are, you should be exposing a lot more skin and cleavage to take the attention away from your fats instead of covering them up with block colours. Cos it shows you are a block of fats more.
They strongly recommend thin spagetti straps instead of blocks of colours covering your body but exposing your arms.
And I do find that advice really useful.
The idea is, even you are fat, with spag straps, it shows off instead of hiding half half. And all that is left, is your confidence to carry yourself instead of carrying your clothes. -

singapore shops should bring in a bigger variety of stuff for 'well-endowed' gals

I cannot buy off the shelf blouses.
L will be way too tight in the chest, where buttons might pop off.
XL will be way to large for the shoulders and it looks saggy or I should be wearing shoulder pads....plus...not many XL size blouses to buy in SG.
Pants...I always buy flat front and with elastic materials. Got one time ride bike....the bikes spilt at the back....so I rode home to change another pair of pants.
The most problem I have with your same situation is with Levis Jeans. Dunno why, they can go past my butt, too loose at waist....Everytime like machiam my whole backside is for show when I sit down.
So I never buy Levis Jeans. -

Cheap and nice and fits well
My pants all have to go for alterations if not I cannot wear them man
The waist area usually ends up 1 - 2 inches too big before I can pull up the pants

I tailored work clothes, like long sleeve shirts. Rest are those stretchy cadigans thingy. No choice.
And if I find pants that I can wear, I can one shot buy 10 pieces of the 6 designs. (Did that once with G2000, the cashier was so shocked!)
Of cos, there used to be staples like black skirt, pants with matching jackets from Dano. (I gave them all away liao.)
But tailoriing really pays off. Cos if you got a good tailor and the fit is good. It goes a long way to solidify your style.
