we are planning to do ROM and dinner on the same day. I'm not familiar with engagement. i think old folks take rom = engagement but ang mohs (where the word engagement came from) take it as something else.
most of my frens ROM first then hold wedding dinner. it can be anyway from 3months to 3years from ROM to dinner. my personal choice is to all in 1 day, easier to remember anniversaries
