As suggested by our Missy Rhonda, here are some of the photos I took during my site visit (2 years ago) to one of the tallest building in Melbourne (on Collin Street). Enjoy!

The photos below were taken from another rooftop of another building (old Mercy Hospital) in East Melbourne.
Can you see the tall, brown building in the photo? On the right of that brown building, there's a building with a steel structure on the roof. That is the building I was at to take the photos I just uploaded above.

it's a beautiful church.. i used to go for Mass there.. my memory fails me.. i think it's St Francis Xavier's -
This one was taken on top of Doncaster Shopping Centre. You can see Melbourne city from there. It's the tallest building in that area.
The 2 photos below were taken from the building of Flemington Racecourse (venue for Melbourne Cup). I didn't take these photos, my colleague did. When my colleague did the works there, he had to use the helicopter instead of crane to lift the steel works (for the mobile phone antennae) up onto the roof. One of the most expensive site we have done so far.
One of the buildings on Queens Road, opposite Albert Park. Yes, it would be a good spot to watch F1 Grandprix from up here and someone in my office did suggest to organise a "site visit" during the Grandprix.

i've not set eyes on it since i left in 1995

Oh well... these are the photos taken during my recent (Tuesday) site visit. I went to a small town just past Colac (over 200km from Melbourne).
The site is at the top of a hill and the steep track to the hill is a 4WD track but we managed to get up (after having the car to slide sidewards a few times due to loss of traction) with a Ford Falcon station wagon .
Here's the photos.... some wide open fields....
This is the track I was talking about..... going down can be scary too!!

Fwah!! It's a really steep slope you have to drive up! No wonder your car had difficulties!
Going down looks scary from the last photo... but it must have been really fun too! Wheeeeee!!!
Also, from the photos, we can see how bad the drought here is. Would've been much better to have green grass all around than brown dirt. -

Ha ha.... I am glad I wasn't driving my little Echol. I was traveling with another friend at work and he's got the Ford Falcon Station Wagon. Don't think my little Echo can get up!!!
