even people who are not in my section see that my boss is so into details that the reason why she's doing things is lost to her...
heck! this morning, she was trying her damnest to find out who put a printout on her table... i forgot that it was me.. because.. who cares who put it on her table as long as it is read, understood and the work is done..
yet, she's trying to find out when it was put there, who put it there and all that..
what's the point??
ultimately, the thing got her attention, the mistakes in the printout went to the other section for amendment.. that should be that...
who put it there? why should anyone care?
i told her that details like that will slip my mind.. heck! who remembers things like "i put a printout on her table" ?
she told me to keep a diary of such things.. would you?
at 1432hrs, i put a printout on the boss's table
at 1435hrs, i filed a photocopy of the printout in the files
..blah blah...
i'd be writing volumes of nonsensical crap all the time!!
i guess that's why her room is a firetrap.. every damned email is printed out and filed -

this is not the first video project my boss is involved in..
there's another project which she's now in a meeting over...
everything also must comment... bloody hell, this is the 1st raw offline edit.. which means there are no graphics, no text, no nothing.. just the visuals for the segments...
even i know that.. we have to confirm the visuals before they put in the pretty stuff..
so the sound engineering isn't done yet, we have not even sent the vendor the high-resolution logo of the agencies...
everything also comment.. i know the vendor is idiotic, but you think for one moment they are going to let the volume fluctuate in midsentence??
going to write a bloody stupidly unreasonably long email to the vendor as instructed by the boss...
micromanagement taken to the extreme..
i'm just praying she gets transferred to another position soon... with a LOT of people under her.. let's see her micromanage THAT!
