any suggestions, recipes ? ... I even got one of those earthern pots from the asian shops ....

how to make good black chicken soup ar ? ...
in the past I've only boiled black chicken with fresh north american ginseng .... now I want something with more omph ....
anyone ? ....

a couple slices of szechuan veggie (the lump preserved in some kinda chilli paste) bittergourd, pork ribs, almond sliced up, some red thing resembling dates, a couple pieces of carrot...
slowly slowly cooked over gentle fire in an earthernware pot for an unreasonably long time
heavenly...
the people said that it's good for complexion, blah blah blah.. but i just say it tastes great

I remembered as a kid I asked my mum why is this supposed to be a herb but there is the word 'worm' in the chinese name -

My mum was complaining to me she bought some the other day
Quality was not as good as when I was a kid and much much more expensive
