  no lah but as i said need to keep money spreadout over 3 banks and need to keep more than a minimum sum+ space ofr expenses in them

  credit cards, you don't have to have an account with them..

  it may be kiasuism, but 10% off the price of a resturant isn't exactly little and 2 cards isn't that hard to bear

  if you're actually worried about your bank account having not enough $$$ when you use a debit card, then a credit card might be a dangerous thing to own.

  for me, the VISA is for consolidation of all my bills... and occasional bills from pub nights, makan, and shopping..
  
  the restaurants bit, i'm mostly a kopitiam person and i prefer zhi char over most restaurants
  
  one will do but a lot of my friends have several.. what the heck for, i don't know

  i don't intend to overspend as i said its for the discounts. worrying about not enough $$ is for the multiple accounts obviously because i mgith forget to check and move funds accordingly.
