Doesn't help that my period came and killed me with cramps.
I don't do hormone therapy or whatever la. Me born female.Originally posted by Herzog_Zwei:Hormone theraPY?
Poor thing. The school, driving and work bits, I can't help you with. But the woman thing, maybe. I used to have bad bad cramps too. The last one got so bad, it drove me to tears. I just couldn't walk and had to lie in bed. The pain got so bad, Hubby took me to the ER. Fifteen hours and three tests later, they found a 7cm cyst in my right ovary. Turned out I had endometriosis and never knew. The story goes on but to cut it short, have yourself checked out by an OB. I have a good one in Sg whom I used to visit, if you need a referral? Like this clicking I have in my right knee when I walk. Sometimes it doesn't click, sometimes it does. Maybe it has to the with the fall I took when I was a hurdler back in primary school? I do wonder. I just wish my trick knee would go away.
On the news, you hear of "new ailments" like Restless Leg Syndrome which can kill. Never heard about that before until it started getting publicity.
Do you guys have any such stories? Would be interesting to hear/share.
Interesting, ah pinky. Amazing how stress knows no boundary hor?Originally posted by elindra:Better see a doc jetta
It could be your joints wearing out and I don't think you ever wanna go for knee replacement surgery
Yeah I was worried I had Restless Leg Syndrome sometime back before coz my husband said I kept jerking my leg in my sleep
I even went for sleep tests but it was just plain stress ><

I also suffer from "mouse-itis" in my right arm. Shooting pain from my wrist to the upper arm. When it gets especially bad, I have to stay away from the PC for a few days.
then it's even simpler... just do retail therapy!Originally posted by Quinsy:I don't do hormone therapy or whatever la. Me born female.
Being a woman isn't easy. When you see Ah Kuas wanting to be women, you just can't help but shake your head side to side, roll your eyes and go tsk tsk.Originally posted by choco B:I was never very healthy cos I am allergic to exercise. But with age , I find my general stamina and well-being has gradually deteriorated.
My back ages abit more frequently (old massage injury) , my knee clicks more frequently (due to heels haha) , and it takes abit longer to recover from the monthly inconvenience.
I've been telling myself I need to like, exercise (bleah) cos I really need to improve my stamina now And perk up my saggy butt.

A man's stamina and metabolic rate means they burn more calories, exercise more effectively and lose weight faster.
No (or not enough) estrogen to give them mood swings and no periods.
Then wadever accessories like boobs can just pick & choose and add on.
While I'm not recommending it, the knee replacement surgery has improved by leaps and bounds nowadays. My MIL went for it and she was discharged within a week or less.Originally posted by elindra:Better see a doc jetta
