Had a very crappy and depressing day today so I decided to give myself a nice treat tonight. Went out for dinner and we had chilli crab with noodles. Very yummy!!

what could have been a disaster of a day turned out pretty okay... the vendors, although tardy, gave the DD something to be happy about..
then the 2nd meeting, the other section gave the DD a lot to be angry about
3rd meeting, the ministry HQ fellas found out that my section of 3 people is basically doing what the other agencies do with about 100 people.. each -

they got NS people, they have full-time Community Liaison Officers, a full section in EACH of their little bits like NPCs or whatever.. and they keep drawing out personel to go do what usually 3 of us do...
they have their own precincts and do all that in there.. about a section of a few people.. multiply that by the number of precincts and factor in the number of NS people they use...
we just do all that.. plus more stuff which other members of their agencies are in charge of..
plus a lot of other staff work which their bosses have staff officers to do..
