Which teams are playing? I know today Essendon (bombers) was playing against Collingwood (Magpies) and Collingwood won.Originally posted by The man who was death:errr.....dunno it's quite nice actually.....
they also got something that's like combining aussie rule with football so there's like a goalpost underneath the rugby posts.....sounds interesting too.....
i saw one between essendon and a tasmanian side....Originally posted by honeymouse:Which teams are playing? I know today Essendon (bombers) was playing against Collingwood (Magpies) and Collingwood won.

cannot throw but can like sort of serve it out.......it's always fun to watch the ref for a ball inOriginally posted by the Bear:awww.. c'mon.. aussie rules is great!
22 men a side, ball cannot be thrown, catch a kick on the full and you get a free kick, you can step on anyone but cannot push them in the back..
kick a ball through the 2 middle goalposts and you have a goal - 6pts.. hits the posts you get a behind or 1pt..
between the middle and outside posts, you get a behind of 1pt... if the ball goes through any of the posts off anything other than a kick, it's 1pt.. if the ball is carried through the posts, it's a rush-behind 1pt.. if it hits the outside posts, it's out of bounds...
easy enough right?
Gee... you know it better than I do. I just can't make myself interested in the game. So stupid and violent. It's a Religion of Australia.Originally posted by the Bear:awww.. c'mon.. aussie rules is great!
