I remember a classmate from Sec school - we kept in touch regularly after we left sec school. Then I started working and she went to uni overseas. After she came back from her uni studies, I found that I can't talk to her with the same level of closeness, as I found her still a little childish whereas I've been working and see things a bit differently...it's a shame, really, but I guess people change.

i keep in contact with those that i'm close with or are close to those that i'm close with (then over the years we also become close).
my oldest fren is since primary sch. we lived in the same neighbourhood. we dun keep in touch but when we meet we will talk and talk. i miss those times when we were young. it was my folly to not maintain this friendship
my secondary+primary sch r da same so from that era i got 10 other galfrens who meet up regularly. Some of them will be my ah-yi next year
my jc mates i dun keep in contact cos i know them for only 3months what.
my poly mates i keep in contact with ONE. she is my best fren, mother of my god daugther and if possible my bride's maid next year
my uni frens got some i dun meet up regularly but they are those if i meet them on the streets we can stop talk and catch up without uneasiness.
my ex-colleagues...... those si gin nahs... we catch up quite often and i've already met them twice this year
hummmmm after listing all these it seems i got a lot of friends

i'll juz keep in contact with a few that I feel really comfortable with.. -
The last time I met my JC classmates was last December. At the outings so far, one bunch would be talking about university, and the other about NS. It should change soon since the local lads have now ORDed. And one or two seem to be keen on flogging dead joke horses after 2 years, which I resent because I'm involved in one of them.
I still keep in touch with a few others from secondary school and JC, and bumped into my Sec 3/4 teacher last week.

I left Secondary school in 83 and to this day, I only have regular contact with one classmate. I did bump into another classmate online at a kitchen forum, of all places. Everytime I visit Sg, I always scan faces just in case I see a friend I know from school but.... it's only happened once.
