If you couldn't consume the leave because you couldn't get approval for it due to your job responsibilities, then they ought to have allowed you to encash it!! -

so many places to stop by.
All the better with bikes!!! arggghhhh....
Shopping is not that cheap in KL anymore. KLCC area beri expensive!
But the pubs are good. Even hard rock cafe was good. Go to 'The beach'. Lots of angmoh and the malaysian sarong party gals there.
Haircuts are cheap. Bata Stores is the same price as SG, except the exchange rate makes the shoes cheaper then Sg by half.
And bring lots of cash, if you draw ringgits at the malaysian bank atm, the banks charges $5/- per transaction admin fee.
Chinatown good to walk thru.
if got transport, at least go to Sunway Lagoon. Its nearby KL?
Food wise, the Bus terminal nearby street has this wanton mee which is delicious! -

Two years later, I intend to do at least a 3-week tour to Korea. Start with a short package tour, then stay on to explore more of the city, visit the Palaces in the city for good photo opportunities, then take the trains / buses to the countryside area where the scenery is staggering and breath-taking!
I'm starting to learn a bit of conversational Korean now, and in two years time, I should've learnt enough to be able to find my way around in Korea.
Think about it, ponder about it... two years is still far away but it's good to have a reachable goal in mind!

KL has a very colourful night life! Its night scene is much bigger than that of Singapore's! So clubbing + night clubs are the places to visit!
