That's what I did when I quit my corporate job. I knew then that I wanted to leave the country and work in a more altruistic job. Tough to make that change, but it's been really worthwhile!

Was talking to ShrodingersCat and considering a career change as a teacher for children with learning disabilities. She adv me to volunteer with MINDS first to see if I can cope with the change.
I think it's a good idea too coz I have no patience with brats but patient when it comes to special children -
Anyway, I feel like cleaning my room. Too much time on my hands, and I feel that I ought to be doing something worthwhile - like cleaning out the underside of my bed.

And the other consideration is the pay too
I have not found out the pay for a pre-school teacher but last I heard from VK was like $800!!!!! It's not even enough to cover my loans and bills! -

It's a paycut but I can accept it though painful

oh well. i guess its like when i was called a big kid, it meant i was too childish

burp....
i was at the kitchen washing up.
Then made myself a bowl of avacado milk cream.
a bowl....its because the avacados are going soft so i dont want to waste them.
So I blended 2 ripe avacado with some milk. Dig it out from the blender into a bowl. Throw in dollaps of honey (Didnt add enough sugar just now.) and a major sploshing of kahlua liqour.
And came back to read about fuge being a nice malay boy. I kinda think he is too skinny. never tot about much about him. I dont deal well with skinny guys. Even with the skinny the_bear. -

but today, after i bought soup from Soup Spoon for ill friend at work, he wants to go there again
very funny yesterday... he opened up the container of soup...
