As she has said....Originally posted by hisoka:so is she still "earning" money from mlm?
oh? tell her its against the law not to show her income, preferably by some credible means like tax returns form or somethingOriginally posted by fudgester:As she has said....
.... it is 'against company policy' for her to disclose her earnings.
I advised her to quit it, considering that she had just started poly. She still insisted on being in it, even though working in that company full-time still netted her a loss. And mind you, she was working like 6 days a week from morning till night. No way on earth can she earn the same amount of money, much less a profit, while studying in poly.
Sigh... she's gonna get burnt... but what bothers me is that it's her parents' money that she burning.
People are always after the quick-fix solutions.Originally posted by laurence82:another scary topic, this time in marketplace forum
somebody trying to sell Adam Khoo's stuff like VCDs or something, motivational stuff
most forumers commented that they didnt gain anything from his seminars
and came along some supporters, who didnt share on how they really benefitted from his talks
rather, they supported him simply because he become a millionaire, and that others dont have the right to talk because they cant make it like him
wtf
the point is, a lot of people attended such course and seminars, didnt gain anything out of it, and yet become cult followers of such people extolling his wealth and 'virtues' and what not
people so easily hoodwinked for such obvious things?
I kept the newspaper cutting from that case. He lost the money within a very short period of time too!Originally posted by fudgester:Ah lau: check your PM.
Whatever the case, I feel that if you do want to take risks and play around with money, then at the very least you should follow these rules:
1. Only use your own money.
2. Only invest amounts that you can afford to lose.
If you don't meet either one of the above criteria, then DON'T play around with money.
I remember reading about this undergrad who lost $700,000 when he got burnt playing the stock market... and $300,000 of it was his father's life savings.
