  But Campy already has the check in hand. He wants to cash it, not transfer the funds. I don't think Western Onion can help him there.

  And i called the bank...
  
  $4 postage fees back to US for check clearance, and commission of min $10 max $100. Depending on the amt.
  
  And not confirmed yet, depending on the US bank who gets a 3rd party, further fees must be paid. But this is not confirmed.
  
  Takes abt 1 to 4 weeks to clear. wahahah

  I tried to cash it in USA, but they want to charge me $5/-. And that cheque is only for $7/-!
