Save her financial support as a backup, and dont rely too heavily on her funds. Cos things can change, events may pop up which you might not forseen.
I had a bad bout of luck after i surrender my funds to my mother. From losing a job, finding out about cancer and having my hit and run accident and being unemployed for a year and a 1/2.
I didnt foresee those happening, since I tot I was still young and able to recoup back the monies thru working.
muahahaha that was when i was 16-18!Originally posted by the Bear:she must be worried you go back to your ghey ways of soaping

Perhaps it's a bit premature at this stage to ask this question, but I'll ask it anyway: what are your plans for after you graduate? Do you intend to return to SG or stay stateside?Originally posted by kopiosatu:i'm trying to not touch her money. she's doing partial funding only.
she's not going to give me a whole lot of money, she can slowly transfer to my auntie anyway.
anyway i'll be a student there, i'll be flipping burgers for $8/hr.
i'm constantly reminded to focus on studies first.
i need to relocate to alaskaOriginally posted by viciouskitty74:Yep.
Only met a thai lady recently in California. I was told the rest of the Thais are in Alaska.
Come on, your camera skills are going to be worth more then flipping burgers. Leave that kinda jobs to me.Originally posted by kopiosatu:i'm trying to not touch her money. she's doing partial funding only.

i'll just use this opportunity to see what i can do over there.Originally posted by viciouskitty74:Come on, your camera skills are going to be worth more then flipping burgers. Leave that kinda jobs to me.
And no, you dont need to transfer to your auntie. Just transfer direct into your own bank account. Trust me on this. Families, friends are not meant to mix into monies. The heartache, headache & frustrations are never worth it.
Only transfer to auntie the amount she needs to pay as your sponsor. (securities, bonds or processing fees.)
Just make sure you come to USA with enough cash to start a bank a/c in the USA that can last you 3 months first.

Took out shampoos & moisturising creams. Those are too heavy to lug back, and I need to use them anyway.
The other luggage is still empty.
