6. Describe your Dream Kitchen! Come on, no holds barred!

Of course, all the modern equipment I can have, eg. a deluxe stainless steel Viking Stovetop with a high BTU capability and also with a Grilling function, a separate new Steamer built-in on top / below the microwave oven, a custom-made stove for wok-cooking, where the wok sinks into the countertop, etc etc etc!! No holds barred, so bring in all the best equipment money can buy!!
7. Which is your preferred method of cooking? Eg. Stir-frying / Baking / Grilling / Frying / Poaching, etc etc. Why?

ANSWER : If I'm lazy, I'll stick to the tried-and-tested. Otherwise, I like to try new recipes or modify old ones. I love to read cookbooks and cooking mags! Got a sizeable collection of recipes too! Someday, I want to categorise and organise them all!

10. Describe a few dishes that are uniquely your creation!
ANSWER : Overnight Souvlavki-turned Semi Chai Tow Kway! Steamed fish with Sambal Okra Sauce. Steamed Fish with Honey-Soy-Ginger-Orange Sauce.

What do you wanna eatOriginally posted by Rhonda:elindra, one day you cook for me, can?
I really feel for the single sailors. If they live on the ship, they have next to nothing by way of possessions because of their teeny tiny lockers. Many of them don't have the extra money to buy a plane ticket home. So this is the least we can do.Originally posted by choco B:V nice gesture
Aw.. thanks. There are many of us who do the same each Thanksgiving and Christmas. For those who have duty on holidays, the hubster will take them a home cooked meal. During the festive season, I bake cookies for the hubby to take to single sailors or geographical bachelors. Again, it's the least I can do besides, the hubster was a lonely single sailor one. We're just paying it forward.Originally posted by Rhonda:jetta, it's really nice of you and your hubby to invite the single sailors over to your place for a Thanksgiving Dinner! Really so very thoughtful of the two of you!
Good food, good company... what could be better?Originally posted by Rhonda:Actually, our very own honeymousey invited me, another Singaporean who was in Melbourne for training, and Bear's sis over to her house for a steamboat dinner to celebrate the end of the Lunar New Year! I thought that was really very very sweet of her!
Anything that inspires the cook! Best to eat what the cook feels like cooking.Originally posted by elindra:What do you wanna eat
