i am going to angkor wat in cambodia in June. need a new idiot proof camera. cheap & good one. any recommendation and where to buy so i don't kena chop?

sony cybershot... fastest camera I think... I have a DSCP100 it still works a treat! only down side is you have to buy memory sticks... which are not compatible with anything else...

Yeah, Canon Ixus series is relatively good. I think Ixus 70 would suffice.
Fuji F31d is also good.
I also recommend John 3:16 @ Funan. Service is good. Price reasonable. But will be slow if they get busy.
Cathay Photo at Peninsular is quite ok also.
TK Photo also not bad. -

Casio Exilim x70. Surprisingly good camera, considering that Casio is normally associated with watches.
I would recommend John 3:16 at Funan. Pretty trustworthy people they have there... and their prices are reasonable.
Heck, av knows the people there personally - you might want to ask him. -

get those that uses store bought batteries. or find one that uses AA batteries so you wont have to buy spare camera recharge-able batteries and lug around a charger, its wires & additional adaptor plugs.

sony cybershot T100 good or not ar???i wan to buy leh...but the T20 is cheaper by $100 i think the inly diff is one has 3 times zoom while T100 has 5 times zoom...anyone use this 2 b4???can give me some feed back??thanks

So have in mind the amount you are willing to spend on a camera.
Then select one within your budget.

There are other commericially available disposable camera batteries. Though not all types are sold at other countries though.
My nikon can find disposalble batteries in Australia, but not in Thailand.
