Alrighty. the GSS has offically started today. A brief walk in taka turned into a jostle with foreigners and locals all looking for the next good bargain.

oh.. the $0 is not only due to my disinterest in shopping, i have no time nor opportunity to go shop

I dont like buying at GSS.
cos I find Christmas time got more stuffs n varieties.
Nowadays, I buy cheapo stuffs already.....and GSS cannot beat them even, during regular shopping season. -
I went out yesterday and in about 6 hours flat, I spent over S$1,000.
Here's what I bought :
- Samsung MP3 player, 4GB. Was eyeing the top-of-the-range iPod but was cautioned against it. Price marked down by over $100!;
- Nintendo DS Lite, which comes with two FREE games!!
- Three other Nintendo DS Lite games. Would have been a 4th if the other title I was looking for wasn't out-of-stock!
- A Hong Kong Drama series at 50% + $10 off!
- Two DVD Japanese Drama series at 20% off!
- Three VCD's of thai horror movies;
- Souvenirs and magnets for friends Down Under;
- Three books which I promptly posted over to myself + Seamail postage costs; and
- A tiny translucent-painted glass dragon for display.
There!! Viva la VivoCity!!
Today, thinking that I kinda wanna get a Fujitsu laptop and definitely speakers for my MP3 player... I'm doing my bit for the Singapore economy! -

It's great when you go shopping and have things to buy. I hate it when I can't find anything to buy when I had purposely planned to shop.

A lot of stuff we have here, can't be found at all in Australia. I just wish that it was easier, much easier, to ship stuff over to my address in Melbourne cause if that were so, I'd buy so much more!

last night went shopping also..
within 4 hours spent $140 after the discounts.
maybe to u guys it's not a lot.
but to me.. it's a lot liao.
din even manage to find a place for dinner.
everywhere was so damned packed.
me and my fren were famished and only luckily managed to eat at a zi char stall after 12 am.
Reached home around 2am, and slept at around 3am..
shack..
i foresee more spending this month.

I've bought alot of things on my trip back
- 4 Hang Ten t-shirts (1 as a gift for my mum);
- 6 Giordano tops (& gave away 4 as gifts for family / colleagues);
- Rene Furterer hair packs from Guardian pharmacy;
- Toiletries / gifts from Watson's;
- 2 tops from Baleno;
- Cosmetics from Takashimaya;
- 4 men's wallets from Isetan (for family members & friend);
uhh... that's about all... so far... I still have another 5 days here so the list may grow longer -
i think after all this, mine will still be $0

Shopping here is definitely more satisfying! The currency's in my favour, plus the sheer range of goods available here is staggering! You're really limited only by how fat your wallet is! Whatever you want, you're bound to find it here! You feel happy spending $$$ here but over there, I feel that I'm mainly just buying functional stuff or 'common' stuff. -
Today, spent another ... let's see ... about S$350, thereabouts.
Still very good girl, didn't whip out the credit card! Don't intend to either! Debit Mastercard's my new friend! Spend only what you can afford to!
