  i now use sony cybershot T20. if want to go professional, what type of camera to get? i'm interested in scenery, birds on tree top, bugs and flowers.

  nope.. landscape, you need a dSLR with a tripod and shoot RAW...

  copy ah bear's speech...but ....but...these are my views.
  
  nope... landscape, you may use a pro-sumer camera, with a tripod and shoot jpeg....
  
  unless, if u are really very very serious, you shoot RAW, spend lots of time clean up and process the pics...
  
  bugs you may find a prosumer camera shoots the insects better than using macro lens..
  
  i'm going to hit the sack liao..
