they have such things.. they're expensive although titanium isn't very expensive (weight for weight, the price of silver)
the sheer hardness of the metal makes working it almost impossible for jewellery and that makes the 'workmanship' insanely high..
however, it's not going to wear out or break anytime soon.. or probably in your lifetime.. -

Ok good. I got bring the ring to USA on this trip.
here's to show you.
the ring is only a 0.13 carrots, very simple design I got for my birthday. Only 2 prong (2 more prongs hidden by the bands) but its solataire is kinda sunken level to the heights of the bands so it doesnt scratch or pull on any fabric.
its band shape however is odd shape so it doesnt wear well with other normal rings and has to be worn on its own.

in the 1st yr of our marriage i stopped wearing the ring liao... simply cos i not used to wearing jewelry... then again if it was a carot maybe i would wear it slightly MORE often... like once a yr or something -

Most times, after a while, you most likely wont be wearing both rings unless its a special occasion.
And naturally you will be wearing your wedding bands more.
i had a odd design diamond ring and it cannot be worn with a normal ring cos it makes the diamond ring looks like its sitting crooked. -

like i said, precious metals are soft.. platinum is too.. very soft..
so the higher the karat level (24 karat being pure) the softer it is..
most gold in singapore is probably 18 or 22 karat.. which is unheard of in most other places which sell 'gold' as low as 9 karat..
(not to be mistaken for carat weight for diamonds)
